Type species is Oramincola gen. nov. pilipes, current accepted name Azelota pilipes (Walker, 1870).
Oramincola gen. nov. pilipes is synonymous with Acridium pilipes, Walker, Azelota pilipes, Kirby, Happarana pilipes, Sjöstedt.
A key to the described species of Ecphantina is below.
1 Median carina of pronotum strongly raised to form a crest, divided into four lobes, Ecphantus.

Type species: Azelota pilipes Sjöstedt , 1921, synonym Oramincola gen. nov. pilipes
Included species: Azelota pilipes. In addition Key (1986) lists one undescribed species in Genus Novum 47, now Oramincola gen. nov
Etymology: The name Oramincola gen. nov. is derived from the Latin for “coast dweller” in reference to the habitat of the genus.
