Three new Western Australian species in the Hibbertia commutata species group (Dilleniaceae)

Abstract:
The Hibbertia commutata Steud. species group comprises 27 species endemic in south-west Western Australia. Two new species, H. cadens K.R.Thiele and H. trimontana K.R.Thiele, are described here as new. Both were discussed in a 2019 revision of the group, where their specimens were provisionally assigned to other taxa pending further field work. The relationships of the two new species are unclear, pending a detailed phylogenetic analysis of the genus.
