Two new species of Hibbertia (Dilleniaceae) from the south coast of Western Australia

K.R. Thiele

Abstract:

Two new species, H. psilopoda K.R.Thiele and H. ammophila K.R.Thiele, are described from the south coast of Western Australia, in and near Fitzgerald River National Park. Specimens of H. psilopoda were included in the circumscription of H. hamulosa by J. Wheeler, and for that reason a new description is provided for the latter. The two new species are phylogenetically distant from H. hamulosa. Hibbertia ammophila is currently known from a single location and is likely to be rare.
