The open-holed trapdoor spider genus Aname L. Koch, 1873 is endemic to Australia, and currently contains 49 named species. We describe a new species from the Mallee and Hampton bioregions of southern Western Australia, A. pulchella, sp. nov. We also supply sequence data for this species.
