Dean Nicolle

Dean Nicolle is a consultant arborist, botanist and ecologist specialising in the systematics and ecology of the eucalypts (genera Angophora, Eucalyptus and Corymbia), having named over 60 new taxa and published numerous peer-reviewed papers and public-interest books on eucalypts. Creator and curator of Currency Creek Arboretum, a specialist eucalypt arboretum focusing on research. The arboretum has the largest collection of eucalypt species in the world, with over 900 species and subspecies (and over 8000 individual plants) having been planted on the site.
