Penelope Mills

Scale insect systematist and taxonomist. Currently employed as a research assistant (UQ/AgVic) on: Biocontrol of the giant pine scale in Australia. My part of the project focuses on the Australian native scale insect species and documenting their biodiversity, as well as documenting best practise to establish populations of native scale insects for biocontrol tests in the lab. Field trips planned post-COVID-19 pandemic; happy to collaborate with others on specimen collecting trips.
