Abstract
Procophorella bawbawensis n. sp. is described from high-elevation habitats near Mt Baw Baw in Victoria, Australia. Unlike the two Tasmanian species of Procophorella Mesibov, 2003, the new species has sphaerotrichomes on adult male legs. Procophorella, Noteremus Mesibov, 2009 and Paredrodesmus Mesibov, 2003 form a natural group and are currently incertae sedis within suborder Dalodesmidea. The three genera are here assigned to Dalodesmidae.
