Abstract

A new monotypic Australian genus in the spider family Uloboridae Thorell, 1869 is described, Anatoborus gen. nov., with A. grayi sp.nov. from Lord Howe Island (New South Wales) as the type species. This genus posesses relatively simplified genitalic characters for the Uloboridae, similar to two other uloborid genera, Lehtineniana Sherwood, 2022 and Waitkera Opell, 1979.
