Abstract:
Eighteen new species of Diaporthe from Australia are herein introduced based on unique molecular traits. The phylogenetic relationships of the new species with other Diaporthe species are revealed by DNA sequence analysis based on the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region, and partial regions of the beta-tubulin (tub2), and translation elongation factor 1-alpha (tef1a).
