Abstract
A new salticid genus, Scorpionoides gen. nov., is described from Eastern Australia, comprising four new species, S. gloriosa sp. nov., S. scintillans sp. nov., S. nugentae sp. nov., and S. cooloolabioblitz sp. nov.

Introduction
As it currently stands, there are 677 described salticid genera (WSC, 2023), making it one of the most biodiverse groups of spiders in the world. Recent fieldwork in Southeast Queensland's subtropical rainforests has revealed a group of small, uncommon, and seemingly undescribed salticid species. I herein propose a new genus to accommodate the four new species collected during these field trips.

Materials & Methods
All specimens are stored in ~70-80% ethanol. Epigyna were temporarily slide-mounted in lactic acid for examination and imaging before being returned to ethanol. Images were taken using an Olympus BX41 compound microscope and an attached Olympus OMD-EM5 MKII camera. Images were focused stacked using Helicon Focus, plates were made using GIMP. All measurements are expressed in millimetres.
Abbreviations used are as follows: AERW, anterior eye row width; AME, anterior median eyes; AL, abdomen length; ALE anterior lateral eyes; AW, abdomen width; CL, carapace length; CW, carapace width; dRTA, dorsal retrolateral tibial apophysis; EL, eye field length; PERW, posterior eye row width; PME, posterior median eyes; PLE, posterior lateral eyes; RTA, retrolateral tibial apophysis; TL, total length; vRTA, ventral retrolateral tibial apophysis.
All specimens will be deposited in the Queensland Museum, Brisbane (QM).
