A new species of Graneledone (Family Megaleledonidae) is herein described from the South Tasman Rise, south of Tasmania, Australia, the first species of this genus described from the Australian EEZ. The species is known from a single unique female specimen, distinguished from adjacent occurring taxa in sucker counts, an unusual asymmetrical radula, and COI sequencing.
