Two new species of Austrohorus (Pseudoscorpiones: Olpiidae) from Nanda Country, Western Australia

Mark S. Harvey[1,2*] & Jeremy D. Wilson[1,2]

Abstract:

Despite 60 years of obscurity, the Australian endemic pseudoscorpion genus Austrohorus Beier, 1966 has recently been the subject of new research with the description of five new species from the Pilbara region of Western Australia, thus raising the number of described species to six. There are, however, numerous undescribed species in museum collections, especially from Western Australia. Two more species, A. indawumbacaa, sp. nov. and A. pudiwumbacaa, sp. nov., are here described from Western Australia, both found in Kalbarri National Park. One was found during a Bush Blitz Expedition.
