I am a bryologist who specialises in the taxonomy and systematics of this group of plants. In particular my research includes Australian members of the Anthocerotophyta (commonly known as hornworts) and complex thalloid liverworts, including the families Ricciaceae, Rielliaceae and Aytoniaceae. I have also studied the simple thalloid liverwort family Fossombroniaceae.
