Adrian Pinder

I lead the Ecosystem Science Program at the Western Australian Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions. This program undertakes research to inform conservation at scales from communities to landscapes, including threatening processes. My own research centres of wetland fauna, especially aquatic invertebrates. I have worked with numerous taxonomists in Australia and globally to facilitate descriptions and taxonomic treatments of Western Australian aquatic invertebrates. In particular, I have personally worked on the systematics of Australian aquatic oligochaetes for more than 30 years.
