Andrew Ford
Andrew is an experienced botanist and plant ecologist in north-east Queensland, although grew up in the greater Sydney and Narrabeen Sandstone area (Wollemi, before it was famous!!) Greatest expertise is in the rainforests of northern Australia and the sclerophyll shrub woodlands and heath communities on the elevated areas of the Atherton Tablelands. Interests: many families, Myrtaceae, Polygalaceae and Rubiaceae dominantly. Other interests; fire ecology of rainforest and sclerophyll vegetation and species. Dynamics and demography of vegetation and species.
