Ashley Field
My research program investigates the evolution, biodiversity, systematics, rarity, conservation and extinction in ferns, lycophytes and vascular epiphytes in the Wet Tropics, Australia. I specialise on the genus Phlegmariurus (Lycopodiaceae) globally. I am the curator of fern and lycopod families at the Queensland Herbarium (BRI, Brisbane) and the Australian Tropical Herbarium (CNS, Cairns). I am a member of the global initiative the Pteridophyte Phylogeny Group.
