Audrey Falconer

As a member of of the Marine Research Group of the Field Naturalists Club of Victoria since 1981 I have been involved with both studying the distributions of intertidal marine invertebrates across the coast of Victoria and in discovering new species, forming collaborations as needed with other taxonomists. I have collected type specimens for a wide range of echinoderms and polychaetes, and I have collected many more specimens of undescribed species across Nemertea, Cnidaria (Stauromedusae), Mollusca (Solenogastres and Gastropoda) Annelida, Acoelomorpha, Arthropoda (Tanaidacea), and Platyhelminthes. I am currently preparing to publish more than 100 new species of Nemertea.
I have been a volunteer at Museums Victoria since 1981, working in collection management in the marine invertebrates collection.
