Corey Whisson

anonyous profile.jpg

I have worked as a Technical Officer in Molluscs at the Western Australian Museum for nearly 20 years. I completed a BSc (Hons) degree at Curtin University in 2000 before commencing work. In early 2020 I completed a Masters of Philosophy degree at Murdoch University on the land snail genus Bothriembryon.

In my position at the WA Museum I primarily manage the mollusc collection, but also participate in marine and terrestrial field-trips. My expertise is terrestrial (land-snails) and freshwater molluscs. My research interest is the gondwanan family Bothriembryontidae.
