Ely Wallis

Dr Elycia Wallis is the Projects team lead and Collections Community Engagement Manager at the Atlas of Living Australia. Her role involves advocating for and communicating with the museums and herbarium collections community about new developments, standards and requirements. Dr Wallis joined the Atlas of Living Australia in 2018 after over twenty years with Museums Victoria in Melbourne, Australia. During her time at the museum, Dr Wallis worked as a collection manager in the Crustacea collection, managed the collection management database system, led the Library, Archives and Public Information teams, and was Manager of Online Collections – publishing websites, apps and in gallery multimedia experiences. Dr Wallis is also the founder of the Biodiversity Heritage Library program in Australia. She is currently the Oceania representative on the TDWG Executive.
