Erich Volschenk
When I wear my research hat, my primary interest is in the systematics of Australian Scorpions as well as the Scorpion family Buthidae. My secondary interests are systematics of pseudoscorpions and centipedes (Geophilomorpha, Cryptopidae).
When I wear my consulting hat at Alacran Environmental Science, my interests are short-range endemics and subterranian fauna (mostly troglobites). In both cases I extensively use morphology and molecular methods for species delimitation and asessment of conservation significance.
