Erinn Fagan-Jeffries

I'm an early career researcher currently working on a subfamily of braconid wasps, the Microgastrinae, that parasitise lepidopteran caterpillars. I combine DNA barcoding data with morphological evidence to delimit and describe new species of this extremely diverse group of insects. I enjoy engaging with communities and developing citizen science projects that allow people to feel connected to the process of taxonomy. Currently, I am partnering with regional schools in South Australia to run Malaise traps to document their local biodiversity.
