Kit Prendergast
I'm a native bee scientist that primarily works on ecological questions on what biotic and abiotic factors determine the distribution, abundance and diversity of native bees. I am a professional science writer and communicator, using a range of media to engage both academia and the public about native bees, biodiversity, and biology at large. I also do consultancy, and have been involved in projects recording the insect visitors to rare flora, and identifying the biodiversity of native bees in various habitats. I love going on collecting adventures in all kinds of habitats, from the 'burbs to the bush.
