Laura Fagan
I am a Development Officer at the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development in Western Australia managing the MyPestGuide Community Reporting System as well as a Visiting Scientist at CSIRO, Floreat. I was trained as an entomologist in Canada and worked as an environmental scientist in New Zealand for 10 years on integrated pest management and invasive species biosecurity. My current work involves development of mobile apps to engage community in e-surveillance for managing pests and diseases for continued market access and integration of supporting systems for taxonomy in Australia.
