I work primarily on the evolution of birds in Australia and New Guinea but my position at the ANWC connects with me with vertebrate evolution more generally in our region. This all brings me into the world of taxonomy with which I have always been fascinated anyway and even with birds into occasional descriptions of new taxa and plenty of taxonomic rearrangements.
