I'm interested in the evolution, systematics and conservation of many marine animal groups. My main focus is on the sea slugs (broadly Heterobranchia), including many microgastropods. However, I dabble widely and feel strongly that Australia needs to be broadening its taxonomic capacity. I think that field collections and exploration of new habitats is important, and key to understanding neglected parts of our biodiversity. I usually use molecular data in my work.
