I recently began a MPhil looking at the taxonomy and systematics of the Australian processionary caterpillar Ochrogaster lunifer (Notodontidae: Thaumetopoeinae). I'm aiming to do widespread sampling across the country to better understand patterns of distribution and phylogenetic relationships between putative species. I'm very much a beginner in this field but I'm thoroughly enjoying the learning so far.
