Pauline Ladiges

Pauline Ladiges AO FAA is Professor Emeritus, School of BioSciences, The University of Melbourne. Her research is in plant systematics and biogeography, and has focused on major genera of Australian angiosperm flora. She is most well known for her work on Australia’s iconic eucalypts, discovering their evolutionary history and contributing to their taxonomy and phylogenetic classification. She continues to do collaborative research at the University and jointly with the Royal Botanic Gardens, Victoria.
