Tom May
I'm a mycologist, with broad research interests across taxonomy, classification, identification, nomenclature, ecology and conservation. I commenced compiling a name list for Australian fungi in the 1980s, and currently maintain the National Species List for fungi. I'm a keen supporter of citizen science, helping to found Fungimap in the 1990s, as a mapping scheme for Australian fungi, and assisting with identifications for the iNaturalist Fungimap Australia project.
